Cthulhu: Surrounded by Friends (GER)
The Serpent Folk, the renegade high priest Sha-Ytosh, and the Great Old One Yig himself present a scaly panopticon of horror in this three-part campaign, which can be played as a standalone adventure and also serves as the official finale to “Enemy of My Enemy”! Once again, the interests of various groups clash, and the investigators are spoiled for choice as to whom they want to win over as a friend or foe.
The adventure “Three Locations and Many Deaths” capitalizes on the fact that the investigators may have aligned themselves with very different factions, allowing them to assert their interests—verbally and forcefully—in an aggressive or defensive manner at three very different locations in Germany.
From there, *Mist of War* takes us to Morocco—through the bustling metropolis of Tangier and deep into the desert, where rebels and colonial troops face off mercilessly, and more than a few sly schemers pull the strings behind the scenes.
In *In the Footsteps of Orpheus*, the path ultimately leads—in the truest sense of the word—into the underworld—to the dreadful land of Yoth, deep beneath the Earth’s surface! And the wisdom always resonates: With friends like these, who needs enemies …
