For a long time, Deadpool was considered practically immortal—hard to kill, even harder to get rid of. But of all people, it was the sinister cult leader Death Grip who achieved the impossible: he actually sent the loud-mouthed mercenary to the afterlife.
Now Wade is back. And true to form, he brings not only his offbeat sense of humor but also a healthy dose of a vindictive streak. Armed with a new, deadly weapon, he embarks on his very own personal vendetta.
His first stop takes him to Solem—the mutant with nearly indestructible Adamantium skin. Solem played a crucial role in Death Grip acquiring the Muramasa blade… the weapon that ultimately cost Deadpool his life.
