Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.

A young police officer, a mysterious hypnotist, and the scent of roses that appears in the most unlikely places. Sounds like an unusual love story? Just wait until the first theft happens.
The young police officer Koyama has a problem: he can’t sleep. And anyone who’s ever tried to function halfway decently after a sleepless night knows that police work, of all things, doesn’t exactly offer the best conditions for that.
In search of help, he turns to the hypnotist Henderson, whose treatment methods are as unusual as they are effective.
Each session begins with a special ritual: Henderson lights incense sticks that give off a distinctive rose scent. And sure enough! After just a few visits, Koyama is sleeping much better. Soon, the floral scent alone is enough to make him drowsy.
Problem solved? If only.
For while Koyama can finally dream of restful nights again, a cunning master thief is keeping the city on edge. His preferred victims? The wealthy high society. His specialty? Always staying one step ahead of the police.
The investigators are stumped. But then Koyama notices something distinctly familiar at the crime scenes...
He definitely recognizes that scent of roses!
Suddenly, the successful treatment raises entirely new questions. What does Henderson have to do with the thefts? And how much does Koyama actually know about the man to whom he entrusts his nights?
The scent of roses on sleepless nights blends a mysterious crime story with sizzling boys-love romance. A charming romance-mystery oneshot about trust, hidden secrets, and the question of whether you should really relax when your own hypnotist, of all people, becomes a suspect.
