Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
A fox spirit with a very short attention span, a small tanuki bursting with energy, and a divine punishment that’s slowly starting to feel like a rather unusual friendship.
Senzou had really imagined his life would turn out differently.
He was once a powerful fox spirit who wielded his magical powers at will. But ever since the sun goddess Amaterasu punished him for his misdeeds, he’s had to look after the little tanuki Manpachi.
And Manpachi has no intention of letting his grumpy guardian have a single quiet day!
Wherever Manpachi spots a new adventure, Senzou usually sees only the next opportunity to lose his patience.
In *The Fox and the Little Tanuki, Volume 3*, the enchanting journey of this unlikely duo through the world of Japanese mythology continues.
On a mission for the wolves—who serve as the Sun Goddess’s minions—the two face the challenges of the mysterious world of the bakemono.
In the process, two completely different perspectives clash: Senzou’s centuries-old experience and his strong-willed nature stand in contrast to Manpachi’s unwavering curiosity and big heart.
But it is precisely these contrasts that make their journey together so special.
For while Manpachi learns more and more about the world of magical creatures, Senzou, too, comes to realize that true strength doesn’t depend solely on powerful spells and impressive abilities.
Sometimes all it takes is a little tanuki who never stops believing in the good within you.
In her lovingly illustrated fantasy series, Mi Tagawa blends Japanese mythology, humorous adventures, and a heartwarming story about friendship, trust, and solidarity.
The manga series is complete in seven volumes and offers fantasy fans of all ages an enchanting journey through the world of Japanese spirits and mythical creatures.
Senzou really just wanted to get his punishment over with. Unfortunately, no one told him that a little tanuki like that not only creates a lot of work but can also sneak its way into your heart quite persistently.
A magical manga adventure for everyone who loves foxes, cute animal creatures, and stories where even the grumpiest person eventually discovers their soft side.
