From celebrated young detective back to the classroom. Shinichi Kudo has seen better days. Especially when you consider that he’s supposed to be chasing criminals instead of doing homework again!
After a mysterious poison shrank his body to the size of an elementary school child, the brilliant high school detective Shinichi Kudo leads a rather unusual double life.
Under the name Conan Edogawa, he has found refuge at the detective agency run by Kogoro Mori, the father of his girlfriend Ran. From there, he hopes to track down the mysterious organization responsible for his transformation.
But to keep his true identity a secret, Conan has to keep as low a profile as possible.
And that means, of all things: back to elementary school!
While his new classmates are busy with their daily school routine, Conan has quite different things on his mind. After all, a dangerous organization is out there waiting to be unmasked!
Fortunately, life at the Mori Detective Agency offers him plenty of opportunities to put his extraordinary instincts to use.
That’s because Kogoro keeps stumbling upon mysterious criminal cases, in which Conan secretly uncovers the crucial clues and drives the investigation forward from behind the scenes.
The result? Kogoro Mori is suddenly hailed as a brilliant master detective!
Of course, no one suspects that behind his astonishing successes is actually a little boy with the mind of a brilliant sixteen-year-old.
Detective Conan 02 continues Gosho Aoyama’s thrilling mystery manga series. Look forward to new mysterious cases, surprising twists, and plenty of humor centered around a master detective who must keep his true identity a secret at all costs.

Kogoro Mori is hailed as a brilliant detective, while Conan does all the actual thinking. Sounds like a pretty unfair division of labor. On the other hand, at least Kogoro doesn’t have to go back to elementary school. So someone in this story has definitely drawn the short straw.
