Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.

Hell is back. And humanity’s last hope is, of all people, a high school student who must become a demon himself to save the world. Sounds like a pretty bad deal? Welcome to Devilman!
An unimaginably long time ago, demons ruled the Earth. Cruel creatures with superhuman powers, they eventually disappeared and have long been considered relics of a forgotten past.
But humanity has been lulled into a false sense of security.
For the demons are returning!
Their goal is as simple as it is terrifying: to subjugate humanity and reclaim dominion over the Earth.
Ordinary people stand almost no chance against these overwhelmingly powerful beings. To stop the impending catastrophe, someone is needed who can turn the demons’ own powers against them.
This is where Akira Fudo comes in.
The sensitive high school student possesses an exceptionally pure heart—a quality that makes him humanity’s greatest hope in the battle against the demonic invasion.
For while other people might be devoured by the dark forces, Akira has the ability to gain the immense powers of a demon without losing his human soul.
Thus, an ordinary teenager becomes Devilman—a being with the power of a demon and the heart of a human.
But this transformation is only the beginning.
As the lines between human and monster grow increasingly blurred, Akira must not only fight cruel creatures but also confront a terrifying question: What actually makes a person human—and who, in the end, is the true monster?
Devilman 01 marks the beginning of Go Nagai’s legendary horror manga, which has left a lasting mark on the dark fantasy genre. A grim story filled with brutal battles, unsettling creatures, and moral abysses, it offers far more than just classic demon action.
