Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.

Hell has finally had enough of playing hide-and-seek. All over the world, people are turning into hideous creatures, entire cities are sinking into chaos, and humanity faces its greatest threat yet. Welcome to the apocalypse!
What previously seemed like a series of eerie incidents and gruesome demon attacks is now unfolding into a catastrophe of unimaginable proportions.
The demons’ full-scale assault has begun!
Led by the mighty King of Hell, Zennon, these diabolical creatures are launching their global invasion. Not only in Japan, but in cities around the globe, people are suddenly transforming into terrifying monsters.
Panic breaks out, public order is thrown into chaos, and no one knows who they can trust anymore.
Humanity strikes back!
Faced with this supernatural threat, the armed forces are deploying their most powerful weapons. Tanks roll through the streets, bombs fall, and the military is desperately trying to stop the demonic attackers.
But what can ordinary weapons do against beings whose powers surpass anything humanity has ever known?
As the world sinks deeper and deeper into chaos, the fight for survival grows increasingly hopeless.
A Demon as the Last Hope
In the midst of this apocalyptic catastrophe stands Akira Fudo, who, through his connection to the powerful demon Amon, possesses demonic powers of his own.
As Devilman, he fights on the side of humanity. His body possesses the power of a demon, yet his heart has remained human.
And that could now be the deciding factor.
For while the demons ravage entire cities, the growing fear threatens to change humanity itself. Mistrust, violence, and despair are spreading—and the line between human and monster is becoming increasingly terrifying.
Can Akira save humanity from annihilation when the entire world becomes a battlefield?
In Devilman 04, Go Nagai’s dark horror story escalates into a global war between humans and demons.
Brutal battles, apocalyptic destruction, and the terrifying consequences of a society in a state of emergency make this volume a particularly intense continuation of the legendary manga classic.

Demons are overrunning the Earth, the military is bringing out the big guns, and entire cities are sinking into chaos. Akira might be starting to wonder if he took a wrong turn somewhere when choosing his career. On the other hand: When the end of the world is just around the corner, a hero with demonic superpowers is probably more useful than someone with just a high school diploma.
