Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
Thor is dead. Loki has cut Midgard off from the rest of the Nine Realms. And Doctor Strange ends up in Alfheim, of all places. From a magical standpoint, it’s been a pretty mediocre week.
Doctor Strange actually still has a score to settle with Doctor Doom. But there’s little time for personal revenge when Loki murders his brother Thor, setting off a chain of events that shakes all the realms.
Without his usual access to Midgard, Strange’s path leads him to Alfheim. There, the next problem is already brewing: a war threatens to break out between elves and angels over a mysterious coffin. Behind the scenes, the sinister sorcerer Vyrbodin is also pursuing a plan that threatens innocent lives far beyond Alfheim.
For Stephen Strange, this marks the beginning of a completely new chapter. Far from his usual domain, he takes on a task that actually belongs to another realm:
Doctor Strange becomes the Supreme Sorcerer of Asgard.
This opening chapter blends classic Marvel magic with Norse mythology, Asgard, Alfheim, Loki, and plenty of fantasy—and sends Strange to a place where even his experience as a master of the mystical arts will be put to the test.
Nine Realms, elves versus angels, and Loki has killed Thor. But sure, Stephen—you take care of it.
