Bring the horror right to your gaming table and create an atmospheric experience with this extensive card set Dungeons & Dragons Encounters, where every step could be the last.
The five double-page, richly illustrated battle maps lead your group to dark places full of secrets and dangers. Explore abandoned mansions, venture into cursed tombs, or face the horror in settings that are perfect for eerie adventures and nerve-wracking battles.
More than 30 creature and terrain tokens help you depict monsters, obstacles, and key elements directly on the maps. The included locations and tokens were specifically designed to support a variety of horror genres—from classic Gothic horror to supernatural threats to nameless horrors from the darkest corners of the Realms of Terror.
Stage the desperate final resistance of a powerful Dark Lord, unleash creatures from a world beyond the mist, or transform a seemingly abandoned ruin into the setting for an unforgettable nightmare.
Thanks to the versatile artwork, the maps can be easily integrated into existing adventures and combined with any D&D campaign. Just lay them out, place the creatures and terrain—and let the terror begin.
