Exploding Kittens (GER)

You have the power to bless your friends. Or to cast a terrible curse on them. And let’s be honest: We both know which option you’ll try first.

Welcome to Exploding Kittens: Curses & Blessings, where cats explode, magic spirals out of control, and your friends get cursed faster than they can scream, “That’s not fair!”

The tried-and-true gameplay remains delightfully crazy: You take turns drawing cards and try to avoid the dreaded Exploding Kittens. Whoever explodes is out. Whoever survives gets to feel superior. At least until the next round.

But this time, MAGIC comes into play!

With powerful blessings, you can gain advantages while making your fellow players’ lives a living hell with nasty curses. After all, why should you just win when you can ruin someone else’s evening in the process?

And now for the particularly mean part: secret envelopes!

As you play, you can open mysterious envelopes to unlock 13 additional magic cards that become permanent additions to your card pool.

That means: Your game changes and expands over time. Just when you think you know all the nasty tricks, a new card shows up and turns your painstakingly crafted strategy into a smoldering pile of cat litter.

It’s a bit like Christmas. Only with more curses, less charity, and a much higher chance that someone will storm out of the game in a huff.

Exploding Kittens: Curse & Blessing is a completely standalone card game. So you don’t need the original game or a degree in applied witchcraft to get started right away.

Official Warning from the Merchfox School of Magic

Possible side effects: Sudden delusions of grandeur, uncontrolled outbursts of curses, hysterical witch laughter, spontaneous witch hunts, damaged friendships, and the terrifying realization that your best friend has apparently been waiting for years for an opportunity to publicly curse you.

If anyone actually starts muttering Latin incantations during the game, we recommend, as a precaution, removing the cat from the room.

Exploding Kittens: Curse & Blessing—because it’s just not enough to make your friends explode. You have to curse them properly first.

Merchfox assumes no liability for failed spells, cursed players, or accidentally summoned demons. Exorcists are not included.
