Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
Chloe and José have been a couple for 7 years, even though they couldn’t be more different. She’s outgoing and shares almost every moment of her life on Instagram. He lives for manga and video games and isn’t really into social media. At José’s insistence, they travel to Japan to fulfill his otaku dream, but they argue so fiercely on the flight there that they end up spending the vacation apart. And so, for the first time, the two are confronted with the question of who they really are and what they expect from each other—amid Tokyo’s nightlife, the spiritual nature of Miyajima Island, and… plenty of comic book stores! Is it really just a break, or is Japan the final stop in their love story?
In this volume, Italian author and illustrator Giulio Macaione (Basilicò) combines his artistic talent with his love for Japan, lending his work a special atmosphere that offers readers insights into Japan’s fascinating culture and inevitably stirs a longing to travel.
A lovingly told story, with beautiful, faithful-to-the-original illustrations!
