Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
And if they haven’t died, then they’re probably dealing with entirely different problems right now! In the world of Fables, there’s still no sign of a peaceful fairy-tale life. When Therese, the daughter of Snow White and Bigby Wolf, disappears into the mysterious land of abandoned toys, what seemed like a children’s paradise quickly turns into a rather eerie adventure. Because anyone who thinks discarded toys just sit sadly in a corner has obviously never read a fairy tale by Bill Willingham.
While Snow and Bigby are dealing with their daughter’s disappearance, Prince Brandish—Snow’s downright unpleasant ex—is also causing plenty of trouble. The self-proclaimed fairy-tale prince makes outrageous demands and impressively proves that some past relationships would have been better off remaining in the history books forever. And as if the chaos weren’t already great enough, the winged monkey Buffkin is stirring things up elsewhere: A war is raging in the legendary Land of Oz, where our unusual hero must prove that even small fairy-tale characters can cause quite a lot of trouble.
Fables 13 – Deluxe Edition combines dark fantasy, fantastic adventures, and wonderfully unconventional reinterpretations of well-known fairy tale characters in a high-quality collector’s edition. A must-have for fans of the award-winning comic series who know that “Once upon a time” doesn’t necessarily lead to a happy ending. Because in Fabletown, life is no walk in the park—not even for those who might actually own a talking pony!
