Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
The Wonder Woman of the future!
George Orwell’s classic science fiction novel *1984* becomes more relevant with each passing year, as surveillance and data privacy have become ubiquitous buzzwords. In *FUTURE STATE*, the brand-new event in the DC Universe, DC’s iconic heroes step into a dark and dystopian future marked by surveillance and persecution. For Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and the other heroes, everything has changed. Many of DC’s top current writers and artists are contributing their futuristic, dystopian visions to the publications under the FUTURE STATE banner. And Oscar winner John Ridley (12 Years a Slave, American Crime) is involved in the event and is working on, for example, a historic, forward-looking redefinition of Batman!
In the DC universe of tomorrow, Queen Diana and the Amazons of Themyscira must go to war against Darkseid. The fearless Nubia also stands up for what is right. And the young Yara Flor, as the next Wonder Woman, faces all dangers and wrathful gods! She also teams up with Superman Jon Kent...
A TV series featuring the new heroine is already in the works!
