Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
Satan has arrived in Japan. On foot. Across the Pacific. And if anyone was still hoping the situation might calm down on its own: No. Definitely not.
After the gigantic Satan has already left a trail of death and chaos in his wake on his way to Japan, the next desperate attempt to stop the catastrophe begins. Once again, it’s up to Papico to face an enemy against whom conventional weapons quickly prove useless.
This time, she gets support from the soldiers from the future—and together they resort to a strategy that could only have come from the pen of Hiroya Oku.
Thanks to their ability to make their bodies grow gigantic or shrink to tiny sizes, they take the fight straight to the place where Satan probably least expected resistance:
inside him.
What follows is a completely escalated battle against an opponent of gigantic proportions. As the world once again teeters on the brink of destruction, Papico must risk everything and prove that her extraordinary ability is more than just an absurd gift of unknown origin.
Can she save Japan and the rest of the world once again—or is Satan truly too much to handle this time?
Gigant Volume 08 once again delivers exactly the wild mix for which Hiroya Oku, the creator of Gantz, is known: science fiction, action, eroticism, gigantic monsters, societal abysses, and completely insane ideas that regularly leave you wondering what the hell you just read.
And that’s exactly why you keep turning the pages.
A giant Papico versus Satan. If that isn’t enough of an escalation, we don’t know what is.
