The RGM-79GS GM Command Space Type is a variant of the popular GM Command developed specifically for space operations and appears in the OVA series Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket. While many Gundam fans focus on the famous prototypes, units like the GM Command Space Type are among the Federation’s true workhorses. Thanks to improved engines, additional vernier thrusters, and a redesigned backpack unit, this Mobile Suit has been specifically optimized for rapid maneuvers and combat in zero gravity.
The 1:144-scale HGUC kit does an excellent job of capturing the model’s military-functional design.
