Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
The must-have volume for all HACK/SLASH genealogists and newcomers!
Cassandra Hack’s first encounter with evil in the form of a slasher… and it’s none other than her own mother, returned from the dead! But the 16-year-old girl not only has to face the “Lunch Lady”—the name given to the murderous beast her overprotective mother, Delilah Hack, became after Cassie’s father, John, left the family—in reality and in her nightmares, but also a slasher who prefers to smash teenagers’ skulls with a hammer. Cassie must decide: Will she try to return to a normal life—with school stress, first love, and TV nights with her adoptive parents—or will she follow the path of her destiny? The path to becoming a slasher hunter! But can she ever rid herself of the dark family curse? And despite grueling training and ironclad rules, will she ever be ready for her mission? The cursed cornfields of Iowa will reveal the answer...
In addition to the one-shot story *ICH OHNE DICH* (*ME WITHOUT YOU*), which tells Vlad’s backstory, this volume includes comic episodes from the short story collection *TRAILERS 2*. A foreword by Allison Scagliotti (known for *WAREHOUSE 13*, among other works) and a pin-up gallery make this volume the perfect gateway drug...
