Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
Summer vacation in hell—and no, for once, that doesn’t refer to the weather.
While other students spend their vacation sleeping in and doing nothing, the members of the Occult Club have a somewhat different leisure program in store. Under the supervision of their new “advisor,” Azazel, Issei, Ria, and the others actually end up in Hell, where they’re supposed to improve their individual abilities through a grueling training program.
And when Azazel says “training,” unfortunately, he doesn’t mean a little morning exercise followed by a leisurely breakfast.
For Issei and his friends, it’s all about pushing their limits, developing new powers, and becoming stronger. After all, their opponents aren’t exactly getting any less dangerous—and a powerful Sacred Gear alone is far from enough to make a good fighter.
But even the toughest training needs a break now and then. And that’s exactly when a challenge awaits Issei—one that makes even demonic combat drills seem relatively straightforward by comparison: Akeno.
Her amorous advances are becoming increasingly bold—and Issei once again finds himself somewhere between heaven, hell, and total hormonal chaos.
Highschool DxD Volume 09 delivers the tried-and-true mix of demons, Sacred Gears, action, ecchi, harem comedy, and romantic chaos, as Issei and the Occult Club prepare for the challenges ahead.
Training in hell, getting stronger, and surviving Akeno’s charms. No one ever said summer vacation would be relaxing.
