Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
Some people just want to live a quiet life, say hello to their neighbors, and attract as little attention as possible. Fuki is one of them. Unfortunately, his father is Big Daddy, his brother is a murderous principal, and his family is about as peaceful as a pack of starving chainsaws.
In Lili-Men Volume 05, the bitter battle between Commander Kasuga and Ukyo—a son of the notorious Big Daddy—escalates. But of all people, it’s Fuki, Ukyo’s brother, who brings about an unexpected twist. Actually, he just wants to live peacefully among humans and have nothing to do with his family’s bloody conflicts. During the fight, however, his abilities develop at an alarming rate—until he even manages to seriously injure the powerful Kasuga.
Meanwhile, Kurogane and Moriyama try to stand their ground against Principal Ukyo. He’s an exceptionally unpleasant opponent—one with whom a conversation with the school administration would likely end far more painfully than any ordinary expulsion.
Across 192 pages, Takuma Tokashiki once again delivers grotesque creatures, brutal fights, and a family saga in which even the most dysfunctional family relationships suddenly seem enviable.
Fuki really just wanted some peace and quiet. Instead, in the midst of battle, he discovers that he apparently possesses monstrous powers.
Other families leave their children a house, a little money, or at least the good china.
With Big Daddy, you get genetic nightmares, deadly sibling rivalries, and probably not even a decent birthday card.
You really wouldn’t want to sit at the kids’ table at the next family reunion.
