Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
In the year 2126, a major gaming release hit the market—the game “Yggdrasil,” which offered MMORPG fans entirely new possibilities for in-game interaction between players. Enthusiastic players rushed into the new fantasy world, and powerful warriors and mages formed guilds and communities to shape the destiny of their server-based online world.
Twelve years later, it’s all old news! Yggdrasil has hardly any players left, and the servers are set to be shut down, so a few players from one of the most powerful guilds—with 41 members—call for an online guild meetup to spend the final seconds of their Yggdrasil lives together. But only a pitiful four members show up to witness the swan song—one of them being the guild leader, known by the alias “Momonga.” One by one, everyone logs out except Momonga, who is determined to stay online until the servers shut down. The countdown is ticking down... and...
Nothing? Nothing’s happening?! Wait!! Oh wait—the messaging features are disabled... and logging out doesn’t work anymore either!!! And all these NPCs are suddenly starting to interact with him, the great “Momonga”?!
