Runebound - Island of Terror, German
The land of Torue Albes has enjoyed hundreds of years of peace and progress. However, ancient legends prophesy a time when a blasphemous and perverse god will rise to bring death and destruction to the islands of the Cerridor Sea. But the legends also tell of heroes who are willing to risk everything to save the kingdom from ruin. It is now up to you to take on the role of these heroes and save Torue Albes from total destruction.
Isle of Terror, the first major expansion for Runebound, offers a little bit of everything. In addition to a game board overlay that alters the map, it also introduces new characters, adventures, items, and challenges. Island of Terror also includes new rules for seafaring. By chartering ships, you can make tremendous progress in the hunt for runes. Seafaring, however, carries enormous risk. The German edition of Island of Terror has been available in your local game stores since January 2008.
