Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
The Marvel Universe is full of fighters and weapons experts. But one stands above them all: Shang-Chi. Yet he’s never been too proud to stand in the shadow of others. When no one can match his speed and skill, he prefers to work alone. The master of kung fu goes solo, in Spidey’s web, and in a duel with Logan and Lady Deathstrike!
This volume is aimed at newcomers and first-time readers who are discovering Shang-Chi thanks to the upcoming movie. With self-contained stories from various eras, everyone will immediately get a feel for the Master of Kung Fu and his significance in the Marvel Universe. In the stories, Shang-Chi is sent by Nick Fury to assist Spider-Man and Black Widow in their battle against some dangerous villains. In addition, Shang-Chi is tasked with training Wolverine in martial arts, teaching the web-slinger “Spider-Fu,” and helping him battle a ninja army. This colorful collection of Shang-Chi adventures is a sure hit for all fans—young and old—of Marvel’s multimedia heroes, even without any training or combat experience!
