Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
Terrorists are planning to turn Earth into a sun. Can Steve Rogers, Agent 13, and Shang-Chi prevent Armageddon? In another story, the Kung Fu Master fights his way through an army of killers while the Avengers have fun at the casino. Plus: The Living Weapon teams up with the X-Men, Spider-Man, and Heroes for Hire!
Marvel’s legendary kung fu series were absolutely revolutionary in the 1970s and pushed the boundaries of American comics, particularly in terms of art and illustration. The stories selected for this volume captivated an entire generation of martial arts-crazy Marvel fans and quickly established Shang-Chi as a kung fu master and an unconventional superhero with deadly hands. Shang-Chi’s earliest and most classic adventures were influenced as much by Bruce Lee’s martial arts films as by the James Bond movies or the pulp magazines and crime novels of that era.
For fans, the curious, and those feeling nostalgic: A powerful throwback to Marvel’s past and the history of comics!
