Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
Volume 1 of 3!
Ten years ago, the plague raged like a wildfire, claiming billions of lives. The few children who were still born are strange hybrid creatures, part human, part animal. One of them is Gus, a defenseless boy with a gentle soul and a sweet tooth, who bears the physical traits of a deer. But there’s a bounty on children like Gus. When heartless hunters discover his home in the forest, he is rescued by a mysterious and violent man named Jepperd. The gruff stranger promises Gus he’ll take him to the “Reserve,” a legendary, safe haven for hybrid children. But as the two must cross the dangerous new border within America, the question arises: Will Jepperd betray Gus—or can “Sweet Tooth,” as the killer calls him, soften Jepperd’s heart?
In the tradition of *The Road* and *The Stand*, Eisner Award-winning writer and artist Jeff Lemire (*The Nobody*, *Essex County*) presents a bold, new post-apocalyptic vision of humanity’s fate and tells the story of the friendship that can unexpectedly blossom in the darkest of places.
The comic series adapted into a film by Netflix, in three XL hardcover volumes!
