Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
Geralt receives an invitation to a banquet in Cintra. A courtly evening in honor of the princess coming of age—exactly what a witcher would want. Or not at all.
Nevertheless, he appears, suspicious as ever, because when Queen Calanthe suddenly extends a “friendly” invitation, there’s usually something up.
Meanwhile, the princess’s admirers are trying to outdo one another with charm, titles, and peacock-like behavior. Geralt watches the whole thing with the typical expression of a man who’s wondering why he didn’t just stay at the tavern.
Then the door opens.
A mysterious knight in dark armor strides in, uninvited and with the elegance of a looming problem. His bombastic declaration immediately causes horrified expressions.
But the subsequent revelation about the princess throws the entire hall into complete disarray.
Screams, chaos, drawn weapons—and all Geralt can think is:
“I knew it.”
While everyone else is panicking, he remains calm.
After all, when you’ve been dealing with monsters, curses, and kings for so long, a banquet in Cintra is hardly a surprise anymore.
