Utsuwagami - The Vessel Deity of Twilight 2

Just sew severed limbs back on? How convenient! At least as long as your opponent doesn’t have that ability. After a bitter battle against a particularly unpleasant Utsuwagami—whose powers are quite unsettling even for hardened samurai—Hana has had enough of underground prisons and grotesque foes for now. Together with the mysterious vessel deity Amanogawa Josui, he sets off toward the capital. A little fresh air, a change of scenery, and maybe—just for once—a few days without life-threatening confrontations? Now that would be something!

Of course, that would make for a pretty short manga. Because no sooner have the two set out on their journey than they find themselves targeted by shady characters who were apparently just waiting to cut them off. Who is behind the ambush? And what other dangers lie in wait between the underground prison and their destination? It quickly becomes clear to Hana and Josui that their troubles are by no means over just because they’ve escaped from the depths. On the contrary: their adventure is just really getting started. And anyone traveling with a mysterious deity shouldn’t expect an ordinary stroll anyway.

Utsuwagami – The Vessel Deity of Twilight 2 continues the dark samurai fantasy with thrilling battles, supernatural powers, and plenty of mysteries. Fans of Demon Slayer, Vagabond, and Kijin Gentosho in particular are sure to enjoy this blend of swordplay and mystical horror. Because in this world, while a sharp katana is extremely helpful—it’s by no means a guarantee that your opponent will stay down!
