Vallejo Metal Color 710 Copper 32 ml
Metal Color is an innovative line of metallic paints formulated with aluminum pigments in a water-based formula. The metallic paints selected for this series are the most commonly used by international air forces worldwide, and their exceptionally glossy finish and high reflectivity allow modelers to use Metal Color for the entire painting process without having to resort to solvent-based enamels or paints. Metal Color can be applied directly to the model with an airbrush or thinned with our Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver; it dries very quickly and forms a self-leveling, uniform paint film of exceptional durability, while preserving even the smallest details of the model. It can be mixed directly in the airbrush cup with other paints from the Model Air or Game Air series. Metal paint can also be applied with a brush.
For airbrushing, compressor settings of approximately 15–20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg are recommended. For optimal airbrush maintenance, we recommend using the Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner. For aircraft model fuselages and components, it is recommended to first apply a base coat of glossy black primer to highlight the unique characteristics of the aluminum surface. When masking: Metal Color dries very quickly, but it is advisable to wait 12 hours after application before proceeding with the masking process.
