Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
General of the Rangers. Queen of the Banshees. War Chief.
Sylvanas Windrunner has held many titles. To some, she is a radiant heroine; to others, a ruthless criminal. But whether she seeks justice, vengeance, or something else, she has always strived to determine her own destiny. And never has she been closer to that goal than she is today! Alongside the Jailer, she seeks to free all of Azeroth from the clutches of fate. To do so, she must secure the loyalty of a key ally: King Anduin Wrynn! But first, she must reflect on the winding paths that ultimately led her to the Jailer’s side. Sylvanas must reveal herself to her greatest rival and lay bare the entire story of her life and suffering: her break with the Windrunner family, her rise to General of the Rangers, her own death at Arthas’s hand, her rule over the Forsaken, and that memorable moment when she first beheld the Maw and grasped the consequences of what lies hidden behind the veil of death.
But as victory draws near, Sylvanas must make a fateful decision that no one else can make for her… In her latest novel, bestselling
author Christie Golden focuses on what is arguably the most enigmatic character in the recent history of the globally popular online role-playing game World of Warcraft.
