Spring 2021 brings powerful new monsters with Ancient Guardians! This 60-card booster set features 3 brand-new strategies, as well as older cards that enhance them. As with Toon Chaos and Genesis Impact, 15 cards from the set will also be available as Collector's Rares, including a mix of new cards and older favorites.
A new Graveyard strategy comes into play just in time for the occasion! Ancient Guardians also includes rare older cards and fills your Graveyard with enough monsters so you can boldly take on your opponent.
Summon Pendulum monsters and create a brand-new harmony! Pay close attention to your monsters’ Pendulum Scales and maximize your Pendulum Summons. Ancient Guardians also includes classic cards for Pendulum strategies such as Chandelier Pendulum, the Dragon Subduer, and Prominence, the Blasting Dragon Subduer.
Finally, a new Synchro Summon theme—so cool it’ll send a chill down your opponent’s spine! “Ursarktischer” monsters thrive in sub-zero temperatures, where Synchro Monsters are Special Summoned. Instead of considering the sum of the Levels of a Tuner and a non-Tuner, consider the difference in their Levels! Keep in mind, though, that this isn’t a Synchro Summon! Start with Ursarktischer Polari, the first Level 1 Synchro Monster you’ll need to summon Ursarktischer Septentrion—an incredible Synchro Monster that can negate the effects of monsters without Levels!
